Free Resources Cost Something to Make.
Sheep Food publishes every article and curates every resource without a paywall. Most of that work is funded by people buying conversation starters on our Shop page. Some of it is funded by people who believe in the work and choose to fund it directly.
If you’re one of those people, thank you.
— For the Ones Who Come Back
Already Started a Conversation? Here’s Why Some of You Come Back.
People buy a conversation starter, start a conversation, and that’s the whole of their support. That’s enough. The work runs on that.
But some of you watch the conversation starter do its job. You open a door you’d otherwise have missed, and decide you want the mission to reach further than your own week. That’s why this page exists. If that’s you, here’s what your gift adds.
— The Honest Ledger
Where the Money
Actually Goes.
Sheep Food is small, lean, and unsalaried. Donations fund the actual mission, not overhead in a fancy office. Specifically:
01
Free articles for anyone with a question.
Every article on our Resources page is free to read, free to share, and free of paywalls. Each one takes research, writing, and editorial review.
02
Vetting the resources we recommend.
Every teacher, book, and talk on our Equipping page is scored against a five-criteria standard before it goes live. That work isn’t volunteer.
03
Conversations we can’t yet pay for.
A growing share of our work is partnerships, speaking engagements, and one-on-one conversations with people wrestling with hard questions. Donations let us say yes to more of those.
— Not All Support Is Cash
Other Ways to
Support.
01
Buy a Conversation Starter.
Most of our funding comes from people buying merch. If something on our Shop page fits you, you support the work and start conversations doing it.

Free reach is real reach. If something we publish helped you, sending it to one person doubles its impact.

Pray for the Mission.
We mean this. We’re a small ministry doing work that depends on more than money.
— Accountability
What We’re
Accountable To.
01
501(c)(3) Status.
Sheep Food Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 42-1866644). Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
02
Board Governance.
A five-person board reviews financials and approves major decisions. No single person controls the funds.
03
No Prosperity Preaching,
No Overhead Bloat.
We don’t pay for jets. We don’t have a building. Every dollar that comes in goes toward the work described above.
